Applications

IMPRES-2000 is an acrylic copolymer resin emulsion with high solids developed for use in Water Based Overprint Varnishes and Flexographic Inks. It is used as post grinding medium for pigment concentrate and water based inks. It provides good hold out and finish on paper & paperboard. Due to its special chemical composition, IMPRES-2000 can be cross thickened with certain resins like urea, formaldehyde, melamine formaldehyde, etc. It forms glossy film at room temperature, which is quite tough in nature.

Safety Data

IMPRES-2000 is alkaline in nature and harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with skin and use protective clothing, hand gloves, goggles etc., while handling this material. In case of contact or splash on eyes, wash with copious amount of water and consult a Physician.

IMPRES-2000 is a water based system and non-flammable.
